CRYSTAL PG is a granite polishing powder specially designed to remove light surface scratches, water / acid etch marks and uneven wear patterns to create an even high gloss polished surface finish. The easy-to-use CRYSTAL PG is made up of a special mixture of polishing and micro-abrasive substances, that when mixed with water, the product renews the luster and gloss of the dull granite surface, creating a mirror like factory polish while saving time and money.

Directions for use

1. Prepare the surface to be polished by honing it to a 400 grit or higher.
2. Protect surfaces that could be damaged by splatters with proper masking material.
3. Target an area approximately 1-2 m² and sprinkle a couple of tablespoons of CRYSTAL PG on the middle of it, possibly in a circular pattern slightly narrower than the diameter of the floor machine. Using a squirt or spray bottle soak the powder completely. Position a natural hair pad on top of the wet powder and floor machine on top of it. (A red nylon pad would work well, too). The machine cannot exceed 250 RPM for best results, and needs at least 1.5 HP. If the machine has a speed higher than 175 RPM, more water will be necessary. Swiftly swing the machine back and forth over the targeted area (to evenly spread the slurry), then polish slowly with a spiral motion moving from one end of the targeted area to the other and back, until the slurry dries and the stone surface becomes shiny. The first area will probably need to be done a couple of times for proper pad build-up.

Short & long term maintenance

For routine cleaning of the treated surface, we suggest the use of hygienic detergent CLEAN STONE.
For the maintenance of external stone floors we suggest the use of TERGON.

Where to apply

Suitable on polished granite, gneiss and similar hard stones

Indications

Do not apply to waxed floors. Remove all previous applied waxes using “STRIPPER”. Do not
apply to damp and dirty surfaces and where temperatures are below +10°C. Before application a small discret area should be tested to verify the suitability of the product on the stone to be treated. Wear gloves, goggles and protective clothing. Do not eat and drink during the application of the product. Keep the product well closed and out of the reach of children.
