General properties

GALAXY is a water based, high gloss synthetic polishing wax with anti slip properties. It is recommended for the renewal and maintenance of commercial polished floors subjected to heavy foot traffic. GALAXY has a superior resistance to scratches, scuffs and stains, is flexible and will not deteriorate or yellow over time. It has good water repellent and dirt resistant properties. GALAXY is easy to apply with long lasting properties (approx. 12-18 months depending on the foot traffic). The product can be dry or spray buffed.

Directions for use

Ensure that the floor is completely dry, clean and dust free. Check if all joints / grout are dry. Protect or tape all corners and edges from eventual product spills.Apply small amounts of GALAXY evenly by mop or lambs wool applicator to floors surface. Allow the application to dry (30 min). Proceed to apply a second coat cross grained to the previous application and allow to dry (30 min).After a third coat of GALAXY, leave to dry and proceed to polish the floor using a high speed buffer (1800 rpm 2500 rpm) using a white felt pad. To obtain higher gloss or luster, double polish.Inspect the floors surface for eventual patches or missed spots.

Where to apply

The product is applied on polished marble , granite and agglomerate floors. It is highly recommended on large public surfaces such as; shopping centres, supermarkets and hotel lobbies.

Coverage

Indicative coverage applying one coat of the product on surfaces of medium absorption is 80-100 m² / lt. ( 860-1080 sq. ft. / lt. )
