General properties

STONE WET protects internal installed stone surfaces, in particular; coloured marbles, limestone and coloured slate from moisture and dirt providing a wet look colour enhancing of the natural stone colours without distorting the clarity of the stone pattern. STONE WET is very resistant to high foot traffic and will not deteriorate or yellow over time. The superior water repellency and dirt resistance of STONE WET is due to its technologically advanced formulation, protecting and colour enhancing the stone for a long period of time. STONE WET does not change the natural aspect of the stone or to the sanded grout surface and it will not create any type of film or plastic effect, while allowing vapour to escape. UV resistant. Treated surfaces with STONE WET are easy to clean and to maintain.

Directions for use

On tumbled or sandblasted material, wash surface with AX CLEANER (35). Rinse with neutraliser solution diluted in accordance with label. Ensure tiles, adhesive beds and grouts are completely dry before sealing (5-10 days).Apply by cloth, lambs wool applicator or spray one coat of STONE WET uniformly on a clean and dry surface. If applied by spray, remove any air bubbles from surface using a clean cotton cloth or lambs wool applicator. Allow a curing time of 4/6 hours, proceed to apply a second coat in a different direction to the first. If polished effect desired, polish the surface using a polishing machine together with a white nylon pad. We suggest to allow 12/24 hours, curing time before resuming normal use of the treated surface.To avoid and prevent the adhesion of grout, cement or other grouting substances to the tiles surface and pores and the possible staining that can result from the above substances, we highly recommend the application of the product PRE SEALER (23b) in order to protect the surface during the installation and to help/quicken the following clean up from the construction dirt.

Maintenance

For routine cleaning we suggest the use of our hygienic detergent CLEAN STONE (24). To remove stubborn or ingrain dirt from the stones surface, we suggest the use of our heavy duty detergent TERGON (33).

Where to apply

The product is highly recommended on internal acid cleaned, honed, tumbled, sandblasted , marble , granite , natural stone and on antique cobblestone surfaces

Coverage

Indicative coverage applying two coats of the product on surfaces of medium absorption is 8-12 m² / lt. (80-130 sq.ft. / lt.) On surfaces of low absorption is 20-24 m² / lt. (215-260 sq.ft. / lt.)
