General properties

PROLUX is a solvent based, liquid, self-polishing varnish used in the production of marble and granite supplying a fast, long lasting polish to these surfaces. PROLUX is also indicated for areas where a mechanical polish is difficult to archive such as on: corners, ribs, edges, rims and pillars. Based on the products formulation of resins and waxes, PROLUX garantees a polish that resists to atmospheric conditions and to general use for long periods of time.
PROLUX is also highly recommended to be used on rough, non polished material such as: blocks, slabs and tiles in order to obtain a strong "wet look" effect. PROLUX does not "yellow" or alter its aspect due to UV rays.

Directions foruse

Apply on coat of Prolux using a clean cloth to dry and clean surfaces. Spread the product uniformly with circular movements and leave to dry. If needed apply a second coat after 15min from the first. Curing time is approx. 30 min from the first application.

Where to apply

The product is highly recommended to be applied on marble or granite corners, ribs, edges, rims and pillars or in areas difficult to polish such as: steps, fireplaces or on other small areas.

Indications

The product is ready for use. PROLUX will not protect against acid substances. Do not apply to damp and dirty surfaces and where temperatures are below +10°C. Before application a small discreet area should be tested to verify the suitability of the product on the stone to be treated. Important that suitable ventilation is provided during and after in the area where the application is being carried out. Do not eat or drink during the application of the product. Keep the product well closed and out of the reach from children. Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as described by product M.S.D.S sheets.

Coverage

Indicative coverage applying two coats of the product on surfaces of medium absorption is 30 m² / lt. (300 sq.ft. /lt.).

Packaging

Boxes of 12 bottles of 1 lt. / 4 containers of 5 lt.
