General properties

KK 21 protects honed, textured, flamed or rough marble, granite and natural stone or concrete, brick from repeated paint/graffiti and felt pen attacks. KK 21 is highly recommended on exterior vertical surfaces and monuments due to its long lasting properties. The water/dirt repellence and the clear, invisible anti-graffiti properties is due to its technologically advanced formulation, protecting deep inside the stone pores preventing the penetration of any paint/graffiti substance, simplifying its removal. KK 21 does not change the natural aspect of the stone surface and it will not create any type of film or plastic effect, while allowing vapour to escape. UV resistant.

Directions for use

Apply by cloth, brush or spray one coat of KK 21 uniformly on a clean and dry surface. If applied by spray, remove any air bubbles or applicator marks and excess product from surface using a clean cotton cloth. Allow a curing period of 4/6 hours before applying a second coat for highly absorbent materials. We suggest to allow 12/24 hours, curing time before resuming normal use of the treated surface.

Maintenance

To remove all future paint/graffiti attacks from the pre-treated stone surface, proceed to remove all loose paint/graffiti using pressured water jet and a black nylon pad or scraper together with our heavy duty detergent TERGON (33).

Where to apply

The product is applied on external, vertical rough, tumbled, honed, textured, split or flamed marble, granite and natural stone surfaces. KK 21 is highly recommended on external surfaces such as monuments and headstone surroundings.

Coverage

Indicative coverage applying two coats of the product on surfaces of medium absorption is 4-6 m² / lt, on surfaces of low absorpion is 10-15 m²/lt.
